We realise that buying equipment is pretty expensive and is a major investment. We provide all team members with a comprehensive kit-list tailored to their expedition, and also give extensive advice on what kind of sleeping bags, boots, sleeping mats and rucksacks to buy.
Wilderness Expertise provides all teams with group equipment for their expedition which includes:
- tents
- stoves and fuel bottles
- ropes and slings and karribener’s
- kit bags
- emergency shelters
- extensive group medical kit
- shovel
We also hire kit to team members at a very reasonable cost. Some team members find it hard to raise enough money to cover kit, while others know that the expedition is the only time they’ll use most of their equipment, so want to avoid a huge outlay of money.
