Expeditions for Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards
In the last few years, teams have gone away on expedition in order to specifically
carry out a trekking phase to count towards their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s
Award (Other Adventurous Project). The most popular areas to carry these
out have included:
- Morocco – taking a 5-day trek up Mount Toubkal
- Canada – spending 6 to 9 days canoeing around Temgami area north of Toronto
- French Alps – taking 5 days to walk parts of the Haute Route near Chamonix
