Feedback from clients
We like to think we're special, unique, talented people. We do sometimes get things wrong though and are not afraid to stay late after school to put them right. But we're proud of our success and how we've achieved it – 80% of you keep coming back to us and the quality of your experience builds our track record. So many companies these days give special treatment to new customers and ignore the loyal ones, we value you completely wherever you come from.
Feedback from Overseas Expeditions

"Wilderness Expertise managed to take a very diverse group of individuals
and turn them into a cohesive and dynamic team. The only frustration is
watching the Expedition Leader getting more out of them in 3 weeks than
I could ever dream of doing in 3 years!"

"…It is hard to avoid cliches, but it has given the girls the experience of a lifetime. I am full of admiration for them. In the first instance, for having signed up to such a challenging project and for having completed what was - make no mistake about it - a huge project. They have learnt so much about their strengths and capabilities.
From an educational point of view the project proves that, carefully managed, challenging activities can offer them the chance to develop personally and gain confidence. I am very proud of what they have achieved both as a group and individually, and I hope you are, too.
The philosophy behind a Wilderness Expertise expedition is that young
people should be allowed as much control as possible over their own project,
with intervention only when safety becomes an issue. Andy was brilliant
at carrying this through and a perfect leader for us. His leadership style
of quietly working behind the scenes to encourage and build confidence
paid off and the girls had a more worthwhile experience because of it."

"Kathryn had THE most amazing time in Ecuador. The leader was with
them from the start – helping and advising on fund-raising. He worked
with care and compassion to bring out the best in them all. Lifetime friendships
have been forged through common experience – sixteen individuals
returned as a cohesive team. Our quiet daughter left with excitement and
some trepidation and came back having laughed and smiled throughout her
trip – with lots more confidence and the satisfaction of a challenge
met and relished. She now has the adventure travel bug and is eager for
more. Thank-you Wilderness Expertise!"

"Wilderness Expertise has given my team mates and I the opportunity
to explore and uncover a fantastic country the other side of the world
in the best possible way – by leaving US with the decisions! However,
the professionalism and capabilities of the team leader, and the back-up
from Wilderness Expertise meant that never, even when it was dark and cold
and wet and it was MY turn to do the washing up, did I feel truly afraid
or desolate. Thank you for an amazing experience."

"The expedition was an experience of a lifetime from start to finish.
It gave me the confidence to meet new people and look after myself in an
unfamiliar environment and left me with so many memories, which will never
be forgotten. It has inspired me to travel more, and given me the confidence
and know-how to do so. I’d recommend it to anyone. If there’s
a space on the next trip I can be ready to leave by tomorrow! "

We had to include the next one as it makes us smile every time:
"I dived into my boots, bravely wearing just my boxer shorts and dashed
several metres away from the tent. I began to relieve myself, as the pressure
subsided in my bladder, I opened my eyes to the world. Wow! The stars were
packed tight into the sky, competing for space but for some reason keeping
clear of the dazzling moon in the middle. I stood, amazed, alone on this
frosty plateau. The light shimmered off the snow peaked summit of Antisana
on the far side of the lake creating a still, icy image in it's reflection.
It was truly stunning. After about 3 minutes of magic, the cold defeated
me, ice starting to form on my nipples – I thought it best to retire
for the night"
