Wilderness Expertise invests a great deal of time and money into its
Leaders for both overseas and UK programmes, as they are the most important rung of the ladder of safety while
young people are on programme.
"I've been a little reserved about coming forward in terms of getting my face known until now as I've felt that the attitude of the company and individual staff members is too good to be true. I've been waiting for the catch. However, talking with everyone today convinced me that WE is indeed a fantastic company and one that I want to become more involved with." Trainer
As a Wilderness Expertise Leader you can expect support throughout the whole programme, and each Leader must attend one of our Leader Training Weekends in November and February each year. All aspects of the programmes, leadership, safety, reviewing and medical matters are covered during the weekend and it’s a great opportunity for you to ask questions about the programmes and Wilderness Expertise.
Trainer Induction Dates
As part of our induction and trainer support system we run a number of training days throughout the year. If interested in attending or want to know more about the content of the days, please contact Elaine Brown by email or call the office on 01344 774430.
