Join us on the Shackleton Challenge!

Our one day programme uses the incredible true story of Sir Ernest Shackleton and his team to provide the framework for developing leadership and presentation skills, effective collaboration and communication, time management and creative problem solving.

The day commences with an in-depth investigation of Shackleton and his team’s traits, and how to lead others effectively.

Throughout the day, expect to build life rafts, decode maps, build storm shelters, and salvage supplies from a shipwreck, all in the name of survival!

The day culminates with groups presenting their reflections and a discussion on how to apply these newly acquired skills and behaviours in the workplace.

  Venue Requirements

• Large, outdoor space with vehicle access
• We require about half a football pitch of flat area, and an indoor area too. The surface must be suitable for activity with no obstacles or uneven ground that could cause injury.
• We provide full support and advice on selecting a location

What to wear

• Waterproof clothing
• Comfortable clothing that you can move in
• Trainers (not fashionable ones!)
