Overseas expeditions offer a once in a lifetime opportunity that can have lasting benefits on young people.
Many students have successfully completed the expedition section of their Gold DofE overseas with Wilderness Expertise.
Tailor-made trips
We create tailor-made stand alone trips specifically for school groups or youth organisations and we would be delighted to discuss how to make your ideas a reality. Our favourite destinations for DofE Gold are Albania, Scandinavia, Spain and Morocco.
Overseas students welcome
We are also able to welcome overseas students to the UK to complete their International Duke of Edinburgh Award in our beautiful countryside, forests and mountains.
These opportunities add an exciting new dimension to students’ DofE experience, as they take on the challenge of a different environment and culture. There are a plethora of benefits of overseas expeditions for young people:
